Mark, do you have any other photos you could post? How clockable is this, and will it fit on a 930 long case attached to an LS motor (Kennedy parts)? My problem right now is that I've had to modify my current gear-reduction starter to be clocked in a position not normally possible, and I wonder if this will provide more flexibilitiy in that aspect.

Take a look at the Hi Torque starters. They have all types of clockable mounts. Surely you can find one that will work. I got one for my 351 to 930 that allowed me to move the solenoid(?) so it wouldn't hit the frame of my 40.

Thanks Bill. That's what I've got, but I still had to modified it for about 40 degrees more clocking, but I really need about 10 degrees more than that to keep it from ever-so-lightly rubbing the CV joint body. Unless someone makes one with planetary gears so that it can be clocked 360 degrees, I'm out of luck.
