Hello all, find attached a picture of the upper and lower ball joints on my GT. Plus an as installed shot. I'm doing a full tear down of the front end of the car. These are in very good shape, but are of a vintage where the design does not leave them serviceable-no grease Zerk. I've had comments that I should update my front end. I like original, and though I continue to rewrite my cars history, very slowly, I want to stick with what I bought! I've heard they appear to be late 60's to late 70's big American car stuff. But given the car was built in the UK, circa 1980's, possibly a English Ford part. Regardless, appreciate the input.

Think they are from a UK Ford Cortina. The attached link should give you a good starting point for getting replacements.

Usually Ford Granada Mk2 top and bottom ball joints (may be Cortina Mk3 as on some KCC etc) They can be obtained from Burton Power

I need a new lower ball joint for my GTD40.
I have searched for parts and found another thread on this forum which which suggested item number QSJ663S (Ford Cortina) which does not fit. Researching further some vendors claim I need a Cosul/Granada ball joint. However I found that this part is the same, but just with a different part number QSJ711S (Ford Consul/Granada).
The picture below shows the part received and the old part:
Can any of you point me in the tight direction, or by chance have any...
