Roaring Forties GT40 at Australian GP

It is with great plessure that I can tell all that I have been invited to put one of our cars on display at the 2003 Australian Grand Prix in March in Melbourne.

The car that is to be used is Norman Falkner's red MkI and it will be part of the Tattesall Tent. I got the letter asking us to make a car available just before Christmas so I supose this thread could be placed on the Christmas pressie thread.

The car will be circulating at least a few times a day except on Sunday when it will only make the track the once.

I will be with the car most of the week-end and look forwarding to seeing as many as posible.

On my off times I will be at the Melbourne International Motor Show with our latest car. She is a Guardsman Blue and White MkI with all the extras :

Are you planning to list those options on your cars????

Hope so. They are some of the things I plan to put on mine. Have been looking at the aftermarket guys for some time. If you are planning that, I would love to have the price sheet on those options. How about some pictures???

Well done Robert on the invite to the Aussie GP. Must make you feel that you have arrived! We suffer from the comments Oh its only a copy so rarely does a replica 40 make it to the top events. Well done and enjoy it.

All of the options listed will be available on all of our cars, old or new. I have a policy of designing all options to be fitted to our first car as well as our latest car. The options should be able to be fitted to our rivals cars also with a little modification.

Thankyou for your kind words. It is extremely difficult to be accepted here also but the walls come down one brick at a time. My car will be circulating every day and I am looking forward to driving with the greats like Sterling Moss etc.
