A Seymour Snerd Lifetime Supporter Jun 20, 2011 #1 Here's a picture of the engine bay of P1128, one of the five Safir Mk Vs with a Mk II rear clip and FE engine. There are these big black scoop-like things where a real Mk II would have its FIA luggage bins. Any idea what those things are?

Tim Kay Lifetime Supporter Jun 20, 2011 #2 I'm guessing they're air ducts directing air from the rear clip snorkels down to oil coolers. I see what appears to be an AN line coming form the lower far side duct.
