Safir Mk V (Mk II) "appendages"

Here's a picture of the engine bay of P1128, one of the five Safir Mk Vs with a Mk II rear clip and FE engine.

There are these big black scoop-like things where a real Mk II would have its FIA luggage bins.

Any idea what those things are?

I'm guessing they're air ducts directing air from the rear clip snorkels down to oil coolers. I see what appears to be an AN line coming form the lower far side duct.
