SB100 Calif smog exemption

I got a sequence number from the DMV for my VSE Cobra for one of the 500 SB100's exemptions that are offered to specialty vehicles this year. It was done later in the afternoon on Tuesday the 2nd, and seems that more were available at that time. Not being prepaired I likely could have got a second for the RCR40. Anyother CA folks get one? I think all that is left is to get the VIN from CHP and brake/light inspect. Didn't have anything except some receipts and a couple of forms...Seems too easy, but will have practice for the RCR40 for next year.

As of January 3, 2007,
all 500 sequence certificates have been assigned.
No additional sequence certificates will be available until January 2008​

I got mine for my GT40 - number 424

My Wife was at the DMV on Jan. 2nd at 8:45 AM and 150 of the 500 numbers available were already issued.

Well I'm glad to see a few folks here that got them. Wonder how many got turned away. I'll be in line early for the 2008 for the RCR. I think I can stretch a bunch of extensions for a year .

Hmm I wonder if I can make an appointment now for next year

(NOTE: Looks like you can only do it a month ahead of the current day, looks hackable however...)
