Shelby Museum

On a vacation to Colorado last week I was able to sway the family up to Boulder to visit the Shelby museum. Amongst the Cobras I saw P1015, the Ken Miles MKII that placed second (unfortunately) in the 1966 LeMans. I also saw MK IV J7 and the second of the six Cobra Coupes made. Some of my favorite stuff were all the parts and pieces placed about. There were four T44 trannys and the original body molds for the prototype GT's. The nose sections of J1 and GT107 (long-nose 427 prototype) were there. A terrific collection however photographs and videos are not allowed (BS!). I asked the currator fellow some GT questions, of which he was not very knowledgeable and became condescending when I mentioned my replica. But even he could not tarnish the treasure-trove of Shelby memorabilia and of course the fantastic cars. I highly reccomend a visit!
