SLC Match Box Car or Diecast

Hi Fran,

Here's an idea, buy yourself a Makerbot Replicator 2, then you can print off scale models direct from the CAD models you already have, I think 1/16 wold fit easily enough in the thing.

Here's the plan charge say $500 a pop for the model, but the buyer gets that back when the buy the real thing.

As an added bonus you get a rapid prototyping machine for the factory ;)

My invoice is in the post

If you are considering additive printing, don't need a large build platform and can wait a little longer, I recommend the Formlabs 'FORM 1':

Formlabs - High Resolution Desktop 3D Printer

It's not quite at market so you can still just about sneak a deal from their kick starter page where there is more information, laid out better:

FORM 1: An affordable, professional 3D printer by Formlabs — Kickstarter

It's a stereolithography 'printer' rather than extruded plastic so it has significantly higher resolution and may require less ongoing calibration.
