Smiths Fuel Guage Issue

Hi all,

Have an issue with both fuel gauges on my SGT where the gauges only read 3/4 full when the tanks are full.

I’ve taken both fuel senders out of each tank and tested putting both floats in the full position but gauge max reading is 3/4 full on both. Can the gauges re calibrated ?
Any ideas from anyone would be much appreciated

Do you have the voltage regulator in gauge circuit
