Here is another simple one albeit very important in my opinion. The SPF GT E-brake tunnel has a direct path to the front of the engine. When the engine is hot and you are cruising down the road, place your hand over the base of the E-brake handle and you will feel a blast of hot air coming into the cabin. The AC works great but there is no point in heating the cabin at the same time. This is an easy fix.
Remove the six screws holding the ignition switch panel in place, and remove the two screws at the back of the E-brake tunnel. Lift the tunnel up and forward a couple inches. You will then see where the hot air comes from.
Cut a piece of thick felt as shown below. This felt is available from upholstery shops. I used material that is about 3/8 inch thick. You will need to cut and trim as required to get it to fit and still get the tunnel back on. Try to make it as large as possible to block the most air.
When reinstalling the screws, it is a bit challenging finding the original screw holes but be patient. They are there. DON'T drill new holes.
