steering rack - KVA MKI chassis type "C"

is somebody know which steering rack we need in a KVA MKI chassis type "C" ?

Others will know better but I seem to remember that it was a Ford Cortina rack.

As the early KVA used the complete front axle from a Fotd Cortina Mk3 I would think the C type rack was the same. Check images on Google.

Thank you Paul, Graham & Mike ! i will disassemble mine and look at the references to understand what it is and what is wrong...
( The steering angle of the car is absolutely zero..)

Check that the rack input shaft is turning when you turn the steering wheel. If the input shaft is turning the problem is in the rack. If the rack input shaft is not turning the problem is the steering column.
