Superlite GTA

Fran,

Will the design of this car allow for a modern Evo 4g63?

Personally I think that the modern engine would be everything this car would need in factory form, and also allow for variable valve timing. A few bolt-ons and the car would be a monster. The factory turbo is almost all it would need as well. The initial engine cost is about double what the older 4g63 engines are, but the overall package is better.

Very interested in this. I was all over the Ff 818, but for $10g more this seems like the better option. Anything new?

Does the owner of the company ever chime in with any updates? I guess this car is very far from production or we would see/hear something.....

Fran updates us with new info whenever it's available.

Would you rather have him work on the car(s) or sit on the Internet all day???

I spoke with Fran 4-5 weeks ago about visiting the shop and he said they were going to be on holidays a week or so and then racing a few more weeks/weekends. I presume that he is busy with that and will be back on and off the board as the month gets closer to changing to September.

I sent Fran an email last night and got a response within 10 mins! Everything is moving along and there should be some pics by the end of the week. Great customer service

Fran is awesome with communication. Also, that is great news.

OK....enough of keeping you guessing...

This is the clay sculpture that the moulds are being pulled from...

Doors are fully functional which is why we developed the clay surface over a production intent cabin structure.

There are some beautiful little details that will show really well with the gloss of a painted surface...

Tailights (not shown) are LED...

Dammit Fran!!! I need to finish the GT40, then the SL-Lemans and now this??????

Grrrrrr....

I LOVE IT!

Great job Fran it's looking great. I love the front but the back looks a bit busy. Obviously this isn't the completed car so I'm sure it will be awesome with all the trim and lights in. Who am I to judge

I got to see this model at RCR yesterday (thanks again Fran and co.!) and the looks in person did not disappoint. Seems like a really neat concept and I hope it turns out as cool as it seems.

For me, however, I'm still just trying to figure out the fastest way to get my butt into the hard plastic bucket seat that's bolted to a Nemesis...who wants to buy an ls1 rx7, a shifter kart or two, honda vfr800...maybe a kidney or part of a younger but well broken in liver?

Wow Fran, this thing looks awesome! I actually love the front view and that was my biggest concern. This thing is going to look mean with wheels/tires on it.

Thanks!
Mr. Wolfe
