Much of it all is well intended, but it is nearly always transformed into noise.
The big picture is that the good guys won the war, many risked and/or lost their lives, others were seriously injured, and we were all beneficiaries of their selfless sacrifices. We should acknowledge the anniversary and all it stands for, give thanks and find happiness in the limited short time we have left.
