I JUST REPLACED MY AVONS ON MY GT40 WITH HANKOOK TIRES. THEY RIDE WELL AND ALSO HOOK UP REALLY WELL. ABOUT $600 FOR ALL 4. I DO NOT RACE THE CAR SO FOR MY MONEY IT WAS A GREAT DEAL

KINERGY ST 295 50 R 15 REAR 235 60 R 15 FRONT I HAVE NO BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS . I DID INCREASE THE FRONT GROUND CLEARANCE BY 1/2 INCH WHICH HELPS.

He has 235/60R15s on the front...
And... 295/50R15s on the rear... according to my squints.

Hi Walt, great looking 40, do you remember where you found the aluminum hub inserts, (I didn't want to use the term "hub caps"! Hahaha)

The Hankooks are decent tires. Not bad and very economically priced. I've put the Kinergy tires on a couple cars where selection was limited due to tire sizing - and have been happy with the performance.

Just go paint a big "AVON" on the sidewall......
