I used to live just down the street from Eddie in west Seattle and would see him in local restaurants and the supermarket. Nice guy. Never thought much of his singing voice to be honest, but his words are meaningful.

Back in the early days he and his band got started doing all sorts of gigs including playing at frat house parties when I was in college. At the time nobody knew it or appreciated having Pearl Jam right in their living room!

I saw Pearl Jam in Vancouver last year... it's niceto see a band that love what they do. Eddie kept going until his voice gave up.
