GTP 1079 time practice p8, first rain race p7 - night p5 - day p5 position. Overall 4.th place, but over 20 minutes penalties because missing 1 minute the time window of pitstop!!!

In the bottom pick of Mike Drews #108 post, what is the LED/light for next to the left of the exhaust?? I have seen the same light somewhere else.......reverse light?? Thanks, Scott

Hi Mike with the racing icon "Jochen Mass" running last Friday the "Marathon" on the nurburgring nordschleife finished 4.th place overall. Lots of fun to drive the old 1079 there.

Yes great racer, we had shared the Goodwood Revival E-Type Race last year. This year Bob Bondurant an me will share my/his old WorksCobra.

Chris, still loving your car and the way you use it. The suspension must be working hard given the ride height and the way the 'Ring is paved and set up.

The last photo of the drivers running to their cars is brilliant. Not sure why I like it so much but IMO its classic. My new screen saver. Thanks for posting.

Spa 6 Hours 2012: Team Klaus Ludwig, Jürgen Barth an me are driving 1079. The race was so exciting. 8 GT40 fighting, but the race was decided at the fuel station. We lost 5 minutes!! But the highlight was a Klaus Ludwig, several German Touring Cars Champion and 2 times Le Mans winner, never sitting in a GT40 and after 2 practise laps setting the best lap in his stint!! After that Jürgen Barth, the famous porsche work pilot droves the night stint with remarkable laps and an empty fuel tank. Remark his doing!!! He knows the gap behind him, wait 2 laps at the finishline and cross it after the chequered flag. That was mega-mega coooool!!! 6.th palce overall -Thank you dudes, thank you 1079.:thumbsup:
