That's a Ford GT in the weeds not a 40.

When the race began the Ford GT jumped the gun and took the lead. The two MKIs and the MKII caught up quickly in the turns and passed it by. The MKI Gulf continued to stalk the GT until the moment of truth. The Gulf passed on the inside of a tight curve at high speed, and the driver of the vastly inferior GT had no place to go but off road. Many speculate an escapee consumed the GT driver, but no one knows for certain.

The GT40 pack regrouped and concentrated on their primary objective: completing their mission to hunt down escapees from Nederland before dark fell. Thank God for the GT40s and all they stand for . . . and justice for all.
