Should i go with 01E Transmission from Audi?

I got my hands on a 01E 6 Speed Transmission from a Audi S4. Are there any gear upgrades for this transmission? How about a taller 6th gear for a higher MPH?

You can use gears from other 01e 6spd gearboxes, but a s4 gearbox a quattro box, right?

What gbox code do you have? So you can look up the ratio's.

Avoid the all wheel drive gearboxes making them front wheel drive only is a challenge. If you want to go with a 2 wheel drive 01E I can help you with that.

If you want higher gears for the quattro box I can help you with that as well.

It will not, at least not feasibly. You have to diasble the rear output shaf twhich means fabricating something or welding parts together (essentially making it impossible to take apart.
