Boxster S v Cayman S 6 speed

So while I understand both boxes are the same, I heard the Cayman box is geared higher. Is this true?
Also, I wonder if the output flanges are the same as used on the 928 stubs? I'm swapping over my entire (front and rear) 928 donor suspension (thus taking advantage of the Weissach axle system). Wouldn't it be handy if the output flanges and axle studs matched?

The early Boxster S has slightly taller gears than the later model. The split is in '05. I think the later ones are all the same gears. The Boxster/Cayman box has the differential offset so your axles might not fit. I have had the boxes here at the shop but I don't remember measuring the output flanges. I think they are the same as 930 CV joints.

Looks like a pretty good start for the project. I thought the 928s used the 930 CVs as well.
No I think it's got some other designation. And it's way way too long. The axle outputs are like a mile away from the bellhousing, and besides 2nd and 4th synchro's are shot on this one

Edit, opps. You the said the CV's. That could be correct!
