    Hi, Bought years ago new original type wiring harness for mk1 -65 289" historic race car, which is (slowly) being built, but it came without diagram. I have SAE-papers for mk2, but somewhat surprisingly it`s diagrams doesn't help much. The seller of the wiring harness cannot be contacted...

    Rare visitor in north

    Any idea of 40`s VIN? Car in front is P5 Taunus (64-67), and i think truck is Scania Taken in Keminmaa from telephone pole at truck drives home after night halt, Finland, spring of -66 or -67 i guess. GT went to Rovaniemi, for local Ford dealer`s car show. White stuff is snow :)

    FIA HTP for a gt40.....

    Doc, I`m working with mk1 HTP at the moment. Seems to me too FIA really have tighten the rules. Driveshafts; You are right, doughnuts. Wasn`t the uprights first aluminium, later magnesium? However, no magnesium is the way here too, if possible. I got one 65 hi po 289 block, but didn`t check it...

    Brian, trying to choose the wheels very long time; I think You just gave me answer... Thanks! :thumbsup: I like idea of the 3-pcs wheels; you can choose width and ET-reading (backspace) exactly right with them, but like You, don`t like the gap, flatness and rear wheel "barrel look".
