I'm selling my Superlight Aero R and someone is going to get a heck of a deal. This is by far the most sorted and developed Aero in existence. This car has extensive upgrades and won 3rd in the SU class at the 2024 NASA Championships. It's an absolute hoot to drive! I'm basically selling this car for the price of the engine, transaxle, electronics and wheels - the Milspec wiring harness, brakes, battery, shifting system, steering system, suspension, radio antennae and harness, chassis, body, floor, wings, windshield, tools and spares are pretty much free. Price it out and you'll see what I mean. Full transparency - drivers over 6'2" in height should not buy this car as you won't fit well. Just sayin'. ;-)

This car is fully prepped and ready for the track. It's got fresh engine and transaxle oil and filters, the half shafts have been serviced and greased, the brake pads are have just one weekend of use, the front rotors are brand new, there's fresh vinyl on the body and a new Pyrotect fuel cell that's certified until 2030. The Lifeline Fire Bottle has been recharged as well and is good through 2027. This sale also includes the 2-piece mold we used to make the air intakes for the oil coolers, in case you want to make some out of carbon fiber. This vehicle has never been crashed or wrecked and comes with a lot of spares, tools and supplies (see the details below). Note that I have also listed it on racingjunk.com.

Here's the details:

This Superlite Aero R has extensive performance and safety modifications resulting in a very safe yet extremely fast race car. No expense was spared in building this chassis. When it left Superlite it went straight to Agile Automotive, where it spent over a year getting significant upgrades to the chassis in addition to mounting the engine and transaxle. From Agile it went directly to Veracity Racing Data for a bespoke milspec wiring harness, MoTEC installation and calibration and engine break-in and tuning. The pedals, wheels, wheel studs, master cylinders, steering column, steering rack, steering wheel, seat, water reservoir, water pump, battery, wiring harness, electronics, transaxle, shifting system, fire suppression system, floor, rear diffuser and rear wing have all been significantly upgraded. We used Goodridge G-Line XF 910 hoses and AN fittings throughout the car - this stuff costs $30-$80/foot. It also comes with Electric Power Steering, an AiM SmartyCAM, a custom carbon fiber air intake, two sets of Forgeline racing wheels with used Pirelli slicks plus a set of new Pirelli rain tires.

For clarity's sake, this sale includes two sets (8 wheels) of Forgeline wheels with used Pirelli slicks on them. Apologies for any confusion.

Here's a video of starting the car. You need to build oil pressure prior to starting as it has a dry sump. So, turn the power on, leave the Ignition off and press the Start button until you see the oil pressure building. Once the oil pressure is >10 psi, release the start button, press the Ignition button, wait for the fuel pump to engage and then press the Start button until it starts. Ignore the low fuel pressure warning on the dash - it's low because we are just starting the car. ;-)

Wow! this is a great deal.... Hmmm, I may have interest and will reach out if I choose to move forward with anything.

I am 6'4", reading your description, is this a "no-go"?

Hi Justin. Sorry, I'm 6' 2" and fit fine, but if I were 6' 3" I don't think I'd be able to drive the car comfortably - no way at 6' 4".
I truly wish I had a different answer but don't want to waste anyone's time or energy. ;-)

Wow!! $85k is an absolute steal for all you get , smoking deal . Someone is going to be very happy with their purchase .

A lot has to do with the length of your legs vs torso. I fit (it's all relative but I did a 1500 mile trip to the Tail of the Dragon) in my Lotus Esprit by my friend does not at all. We're both about 6'3" but built differently, similar weight.
