Thanks Ian and Howard for your kind help....I think I will play it safe and plumb in with a blank for testing only... . .. We all know how hot the cars run so it's simply not worth the risk and I don't have a fire suppression system Howard... It's somewhat annoying as I have an intermittent...

Thanks Neil ...was a typo that should read Carb entry not Car....... yes agreed no pressured fuel line in cockpit... Just a question of whether these guages can take extreme heat on top of a GT40 engine... I might play safe and go for plumbing it in just to test whilst static... Cheers

Hi Guys looking at 302 Blocks and IVA emissions requirements..... Hope you guys might help with some advise on whether engine Block age really matters re emissions.....? I understand that a Pre 1st August 1986 engine has to have less than 4.5% CO and 1200 HC at idle with anything Post 1986...
