    1st RF in UK

Jimmymac, I wish you all the best with your car. I would just like to straighten out one little thing. MDA are not the only people who can offer a fully built, original style, turnkey car. RF do (and Robert will be delighted to build it) and CAV do as well. You will also be able to get a...

    CAV In provisional Liquidation

FYI, Ginetta did help CAV UK with the SVA process. The link however was that CAV were going to make the body for a new Ginetta. Unfortunately (for both Martin Phaff and CAV, it didn't happen for a variety of reasons. I echo all of the above "moving on comments". I enjoyed my time with CAV...

    CAV In provisional Liquidation

I agree with you David. I was involved with CAV at the time and I had absolutely no problem with anything that Chris Melia said on his post. It was factual, balanced and therefore fair. I don't agree with your comment about people trying to get rich though. In my opinion, the only way to...

    THRUXTON GT40 TRACK DAY

Hi All, I am looking into the feasibility of a track day at Thruxton for GT40's only. I have in mind a Saturday for the driving, followed by a party in the clubhouse and camping overnight. A good fry up would be available before departure on the Sunday! Alternatively we could see about...

    1st RF in UK

I think so JP! He seems the kind of guy who uses his toys, so I would be surprised if it stays in the garage. You seem to have so many goodies on yours though, he might steer clear of you! Best Rick

    1st RF in UK

Hi all, The good news is that we have got the first RF kit entering UK in Sept. It is chassis no 99 and has been bought by a guy called Jerry Evans, who flew all the way out to Australia (for a day!) to meet Robert Logan and see the factory and the cars. Jerry is 6ft 3 and so he also wanted...

    Import Duty to UK

Hi Brett, I have to work out the duty for importing the RF. I wonder if you import a complete rolling chassis in parts, whether it is necessary to go through each individual item in the box apportioning duty where applicable, or if a broad brush approach would be acceptable. Any ideas? Rick

    Import Duty to UK

Hi all, I thought it might be useful to post the figures for duty, when importing to the UK. I use a guy called Patrick from Southern Cross (0208 7515844) he know his stuff and I am happy to recommend his services. Most items imported have their own code, but the worst case is as follows...
