90db! Wow! That is tough! Is that static or drive-by? I turned up to a trackday once thinking it was a 105db (static) day but the limit that day was 98db. doh! That was a struggle! No way I could make 90db.

Quaife also do their own purpose built transaxle which, from memory, I think they say is good for around 1000bhp and they do a slightly lesser rated one too. They are six speed and sequential. You can also easily change the ratios. Similar money to the RBT as I recall.

A friend of mine saw this at an auction and very kindly thought of me. I think it gives a remarkable insight into the lengths that JWE went to to prepare to win. I thought you chaps might like to see them too.

Dusted off my Southern GT and headed down to Goodwoods own GRRC Easter Sprint on Easter Monday for some hydrocarbon fun. Amazingly for a Spring bank holiday the rain held off and we had quite a pleasant day. In contrast to the same event last year which was cancelled due to planes being upside...

Thanks Jac. Are they the same then? I thought it was 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 for the Chevy and 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 for the 302? Although, just to confuse myself further, I should say mine actually has a 351 firing order so it's 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. :confused:

Does anyone know what the crank angle at BDC on the intake stroke is on a Ford 302? It is 540 degrees for a SB Chevy (sorry about the language!) and it would be easy to assume that it is the same, but we all know what assuming does! Thanks guys
