I don't think there is room inside the case to flip.
Also the heights on the input shaft and axles is better with it flipped. Puts the Ford V8 as low as possible, not so when it's "right" side up.
Was just trying to clarify the points Tom was making for general discussion. I seriously doubt your rack is off center.
From the looks of the groove directions the rotors on the back of the car may be swapped side to side. The fronts are correct.
Solidworks is a mid range modeler, I guess...
the only problem with slotting the holes is that if someone else works on it that doesn't know the starter has to be located, well you get the picture.
If you ever sell the car it's just one of those things that should be noted.
If I recall correctly when I did it on mine it was on the stand...
I believe with 6 lines it's just grade 8, not 8.5. The light gold is cadmium plating. The 3 lines is grade 5.
Basically grade 5 is the first tier of graded SAE bolts and grade 8 is the second.
AN (aircraft) is the next step up. Not that much stronger than grade 8 just more rigid quality...
Are the CAD drawings done in Solidworks? Nice...
One minor point. Not positive but I believe you're supposed to run the rear disc grooves angling the other direction. I think it's so they push debris out not in on braking. Either that or so the pads are pushed out radially.
I think you meant to say "If NOT the toothgear is not centered"
What you're talking about is the steering wheel not centered to the rack, just pull the steering wheel and re-center.
If the inner rack is centered in the rack assembly and your steering rod ends are different lengths, then you...
Everyone needs to take a hit, not just the Unions
healthcare
CEO's
Unions
management
tariffs
I think the biggest problem is healthcare, I can feel it right now paying Cobra, it's my single biggest monthly bill, heaven forbid though if you don't have coverage.
I had to slot one of the mount holes and move the starter in on mine.
Have a '93 G50 trans adapted to the pre-'89 flywheel and clutch parts so I could run the mini starter.
First put a little bushing or something to hold the starter gear in the full out engaged position, this is so you can do...
This is the garage where I used to live in Albuquerque NM, and the Cobra project.
I had the body winched up to the roof with a boat winch and cables. Had about 1" clearance to walk under it. In this pic the body is being lowered down.
You're misinformed, we are not going to "pay for their problems", it's a LOAN. It would be like if you consolidated all your debt for a single loan.
and innacurate
The only problem you mention is the Unions. Nothing about overpriced health care, overpaid CEO's many of whom have misappropriated...
This poll is titled wrong, it's not a bailout. The banks and mortgage companies, that's a bailout, read giveaway. And they won't even say who they're giving it to.
The big 3 thing is a loan, just like Chrysler in the 80's and they paid it back in 3 years with interest.
The unions are only...
Synopsis
Rake, 1/2" lower in front
Aero, all air going into front and rear clips should be coming out at same pressure. The main thing here is a sealed area going into and coming out of the radiator, no leakage into front clip. This means the rad fans have to be on the front of the rad. The...
You're building a 1/10th model including the body?
there's a lot more stuff out there for a MK-I than a MK-II. The MK-I is hard enough and you're picking the harder route. The first thing you need to try to do is cultivate an owner of a real one, at least a MK-V or an SP.
There's conflicts of...
