Building drawings and specs. HELP!!!

Hi all, I'm building a GT40 Mk II from scratch and lets just say a snowflake has had better chance of making it to the firey pits of the underworld than I've had trying to start my project. I'm struggling to find any building drawings, specs and everything in between. Does anyone have any drawings, specs and the bits and pieces in between (Such as what metrials I need for example) or know any books/magazins/publications on how to do it?

Dont like your chances, even though you say its going to be a 1/10 scale. Virtually everything you need to know is on the site, but dont expect someone to give it to you on a plate- start using the search button, once you have some basic dimensions like wheelbase, height etc, stuff will start to fall into place. That old catch phrase--- 'If it was easy, everyone would be doing it' has a lot of meaning here.:)

Read this thread - tell us where he got the drawings...

Then read this one - talk about dedication!

and this one;

I know that your undertaking is going to be almost as challenging as what these guys have been through and are still going through... It takes a lot of vision and dedication.
I truly hope you're up to the task and will share your build with us..

It's unfortunate that the original blueprints are not available - never really were to the public...

You're building a 1/10th model including the body?

there's a lot more stuff out there for a MK-I than a MK-II. The MK-I is hard enough and you're picking the harder route. The first thing you need to try to do is cultivate an owner of a real one, at least a MK-V or an SP.

There's conflicts of interest when you start talking plans. There's understandable oppression by the owners builders of the real cars. Lower numbers keeps the value. There are plans out there and people do occasionally give them up, but never in public, and always on the condition you're only using them for yourself. Not for commercial or distribution purposes.

No, they don't.
I was looking for prints to build a 1/6th scale brass mono and was willing to provide legal documentation that they would not leave my hands nor be reproduced and still no help.

These are the "GT40 Holy Grail" and the Knights Templar won't let them go.................
