    RCR GT40 Radiator Size

Jason, What about instead of changing the radiator just adding a larger oil cooler? As the oil has a lot of heat put into it and if you remove that heat it should lower the engine temps. I know that is not using that space above the radiator but may be more cost effective than a new radiator. Mark

    Phones and email down

Sounds like Alex needs a trip south of the border to a race track or maybe to Fran's shop to thaw out. On second thought maybe I am the one that needs to go south as all of this white stuff on the ground is getting really old really fast:cry: And we have more of it arriving today:sad: Mark

    General Trailer recommendations

My personal favorite trailer is a flat open trailer with one axle. I put my money in the toys not the trailer or tow unit. On the left is my son sitting by my new RCR70 when we picked it up at Fran's behind my old Cummins powered 1 ton 4X4 1985 Suburban. Fran must have been laughing when he saw...

    Purchasing Jim Dunham's GT40

Randy, Thank you. I am having a hard time waiting to actually see Jim's GT40 in person as many people have stated that it is very well done. This will be a challenging and fun project to finish re-creating an original looking GT40. Another challenge will be getting insurance on this as I am...

    Expertise requested about Snap-on tools

Seth, I have a bunch of Snap-on tools in my box they are of great quality. The problem is that to exchange them you have to find a dealer. Finding a dealer is easy if you owe them money but when you do not have a payment good luck exchanging the broken tooling. I know others will have thier own...

1.5 mile top speed Northeast event: Battle of the Superkit cars 2012?

Mesa, The big question is for those running the SLC. Has RCR produced 50 of those bodies? If they have then I think they can compete in the Modifed Sports class for the land speed racing part of the event provided safety will tech the cars for a high enough speed, like 200+ Because being limited...

1.5 mile top speed Northeast event: Battle of the Superkit cars 2012?

I have studied the rule book and if there have been 50 bodies of a particular model produced I think you can compete in the Modified Sports class. Now to find out if Fran's suplier has produced more than 50 of the RCRT70 bodies? Looking forward to seeing a bunch of these fast rides for...

Keith, I have not gone to the salt flats myself but few members of of a ar club I belong to have raced there many times. Their words are if you are thinking about going then go and experiance it. The pits are open to the public but you can not see much of the track as it is 7 plus miles long...

1.5 mile top speed Northeast event: Battle of the Superkit cars 2012?

Just rember, The land speed racing guys are there to have fun and go really fast. As our only competition is actually the track and wind resistance.:lipsrsealed: The second is the worst. RM I am T70MK3B on the FFCars forum and there is a post in the coupe section on loring for those who are...

1.5 mile top speed Northeast event: Battle of the Superkit cars 2012?

This track is super smooth and really wide. I raced on it twice last year. The biggest items are safety, SAFETY, and more SAFETY. You will be limited to speed by safety equipment. Study the rule book as my car is limited to 175MPH for now. And just a hint Sunday afternoon is hot lap time for...
