    SL-C E-brake option?

Congratulations Craig - bet it wasn't easy! Are you going to tell us what you had to do, either here or in your Blog? Would be very interesting to those of us in the UK (and others). Chris

Anyone interested in a UK forum?

A site like this is bound to be USA-centric as the majority of real and replica GT40s and their owners are based in the USA. However, as a UK resident, I don't feel in any way excluded because of this and therefore do not see the need for a specifically UK site for GT40s. Also matters that are...

The Greatest Automotive Product Ever Invented!!!

Of course, one driver would log off and the next driver would log on - simple really. No need for 2 laptops. Chris

The Greatest Automotive Product Ever Invented!!!

Wouldn't the laptop fall off when you go round corners?!

    F1 2010

News today is that Button has definitely signed with McLaren for next year. Should be interesting. He won't find it nearly as cosy as it was at Brawn with Barricello as a team mate. Chris

    RCR T70 Spyder Lightness

Re: RCR T70 Spyder Lightness.....not bad As Colin Chapman apparently said:- Add more power and it will make you faster down the straights. Make the car lighter and you will be faster everywhere. Chris

I think Teddy had it right.

I too would agree that Teddy had it right. Here in the UK we have large numbers if immigrants who haven't integrated at all and some of whom actually wish the indigenous population harm. It makes one wonder why they come here in the first place - it can't be for the weather! I would mention...

    Limoncello

I know what you said Paolo, but Vodka with a high percentage of alcohol is easily obtained here in the UK whereas strong pure alcohol isn't. Like a GT40 replica, it may not be exactly the same as the original but it can still be very nice! Chris

    Lancia Stratos, real or replica?

Sorry, I think I am wrong about the wheels. They could be genuine. Known as "coffin spoke" wheels for obvious reasons. Chris

    Lancia Stratos, real or replica?

I am not an expert on Stratos's but the wheels do not look right. Also the Golf GTI gear lever knob is surely not what the originals had. I believe that some have been built in the Uk with Ferrari V6 engines as per the original but as previously suggested, Jerry Hawkridge might be able to help...

    F1 2009

It could stop for Silverstone and a British GP. Apparently the TV audience for each F1 race is some 600 million, which is more than 99.9% of the total number of people watching the race. Silverstone has been producing F1 races for years which look good on TV and attract 100,000 paying...

    Limoncello

As a post script to the above, I would mention that I have started the limoncello process myself as a result of this thread. Only done the 1 litre of strong Vodka and the zesting so far - so not the industrial quantities that David seems to be producing! Also I don't regard Americans as...

    Limoncello

I would have to agree with you David. In the old days, when one was in some foreign hellhole and boarded the BA flight home, being greeted by the friendly cabin crew on boarding was like being back in England already. Now a lot of them seem to be grumpy foreigners and, perhaps even worse, male...

Interesting drive around a race course in a Ferrari??

Thanks for that but it still says the video has been removed when I try to play it. All I do is click on the start symbol. Chris

Interesting drive around a race course in a Ferrari??

Video has now been "removed by the user" apparently. Sorry I missed it.

A very powerful piece of writing by Bryan Forbes

The trouble is that a number of those MPs caught fiddling their expenses will probably be re-elected at the next election by those constituencies that have brain dead electorates which always elect an MP from the same party, however bad the party or prospective MP. God help us all - until the...

Gear Change Gate for Audi 01E

I have an Audi 01E transaxle in my RF1 and the gear change is pretty bad. You have to be very precise as to where you put the lever to get the gear you want and this usually means having to look down to see where the lever is going. This is particularly bad for 3rd and 4th gears of the 6 speeds...
