    Fasteners for plexiglass / laminate

I used these in my alloy body,I drilled a hole then used a small square file. as you have a glass body maybe you can source a longer clip, the advantage is it acts like a nylock but if you strip it you pop in another clip. They come in different sizes. jim

Wiper Motor Blows Fuse When Park Connected

Park is on a separate wire usually,The wiper powers on one circuit but when you turn of it powers a separate circuit that passes through a split ring or slip ring with a break in it. When the contact gets to the break the wiper motor stops. I ran a separate relay to power the park circuit, so...

Brake Judder!!! What is it? Why does it happen?

What the issue is as the pad builds up heat it lets out gas.The gas builds up and when it gets to a point it cant escape from under the pad so it will push the pad back of the disk the evacuate. This is why it gets worse as it gets hotter, more heat more gas. Slot your rotors, when on slot is...

Brake Judder!!! What is it? Why does it happen?

The pad is building up gas and pushes the pad back of the disk , that is the shudder. Slot your rotors so as one slot is leaving the pad another must be entering. This will give the gas a escape path. As your pad temp is increasing the issue is worse, also when it cools and you are streeting the...

    Bleeding Clutch

Put Plasticine or a putty around the base off the thread on the cyl just to stop it sucking air down the tread if it bothers you. When you are done just remove it.

    brake line pressure

I take a simplistic approach to this, I have had numerous duel master pedal boxes and have sold over 30. Most have ended up with 5/8 front and rear and just balance it off on the bar. If the pedal is to hard the cylinder or cylinders are to large, if low to small, when correct the feel is some...

    Overheating....

One thing I did on my 40 was on the top of the out tank I have a bleed plug. I remove the plug screw in a bsp barb fitting and attach a piece of clear 1/4" hose. I bull clip it to the front clip as high as possible (front clip open) it bleeds the air out nicely, that and bleeds in heads and top...

    DIY mkiiA sump tank

I made my tank. It has 3 baffle plates or floors with 3/4 holes that are swagged in towards the floor, the plates are about an inch apart and the holes on the middle plate are off set from the top and bottom, This is so the oil does not fall through the holes in the next plate. This is so the...

    Dry Sump Info Needed

My tank empty,s over time, well not completely. It fills up the sump because its lower. In the 9 years its been in use it sucks it out and pumps it back into the tank in no time flat. I do have a breather hose coming off the old dip stick tube from memory, I did have to put a fuel line check...

    Bump steer

You don't have to make it that complicated. If you shoot the laser 90deg out from the wheel onto a target (sheet of paper). Draw a centre line on the paper ,pump the wheel up in the working range any deviation off the line is bumpsteer. Adjust to the minimum amount of deviation.

    Coyote Fuel System

What I did was this, its been going 9 years with no issues. I made the tank on the drivers side shorter, I have a small tank behind this tank that holds about 15 litres. Each tank has trap doors to stop the fuel moving towards the front under brakes. The main tanks have a fuel pump submerged...

    Steve's GT-R Build Thread

Like what you are doing Steve. I wont tell you how to suck an egg but on your bracket cut the side down on the side with the cut out for the hose. If you cut back to the cutout then taper off to the outside to about 10mm it will trim the fat. It will be plenty strong as it looks like 3mm thick...

    Stiff Throttle

Mitch If the throttle comes back slow from full throttle you would look at that first. If it does it with the cable off its at the carby end with it on its at the pedal / cable. You need to isolate why it does not snap back on its own. I use a teflon lined cable /no lube required. I would agree...
