Pete, It also sound like you need to increase the relieve valve setting. The squealing is the relieve valve bypassing fluid. You may also still have some air in the system. It should decrease the lift time but take Fran's advice before you proceed. Simon

Re: Gulf GT40 for sale Chris, Had a customer try the GT on for size ... 6'4" / 240lbs. Had plenty leg room & 1/2" head room. If the seats were reworked (reduce head rest size) I think some more room could be gained. Could also add a Gurney bubble.:afro: Simon
