When returning for a recharge how much refrigerant was evacuated from the system? Could you be overcharged.
My system only requires 1.1 pounds, if overcharged the high pressure switch shuts the system down.
Thanks guys for you response. I spoke with Edelbrock today and they confirmed what Paul said, I may have problems with hard acceleration as Paul stated but not in many cases. This problem has not occurred for me probably because of my driving style.
I have for 16 years run my 4150 double pumper carb backwards on a Edelbrock RPM Airgap Performer intake manifold. It’s simply easier to run the throttle cable instead of fabricating a bell crank. I have never been satisfied with the idle quality and wonder if this might be the problem.

I used the Pollack valve when installing my Sniper, worked very well. I threw out the Sniper after 2 replacements from Holley and 9 months of torture, returned to my 4150 carb but kept the Pollak valve. My engine builder has installed many Holley Terminater X systems with great success...
No preload, you’re just compensating for a lean idle mixture! Try the four corner as I recommend, you can always adjust back to your original settings. The 4 corners affect the mixture through the entire range of throttle.

I run a Holley 650 (4150) “0” accelerator pump lash. First try opening your 4 corner idle mixture 1/8 turn at a time, you may have idle mixture too lean. If that improves your throttle response but not quite what you need go to 31 pump nozzle. Primary main jet size?
I served time in Sniper Hell! Holley repaired my 1st (HaHa) and later sent me a new replacement. I reinstalled my 4brl after many hours speaking with tech (very nice tech service).

The key may be to reset the ecu (zero the torque sensor, etc.) but I can’t sort how to accomplish this since the ecu has been removed from the can-bus system and can’t be connected to the Toyota diagnostic tool. The guys using the Corsa B and C don’t seem to have this complaint.
