    REPO GURNEY WESLAKE VALVE COVERS

Hey guys, I haven’t been on this forum in quite some time. Anyway, I have a set of these Gurney Weslake valve covers. I don’t know if these are the early or late. I bought these from Chris Melia (sp?) I think back in 2010-11ish if I remember correctly. I’ve had the gasket surface corrected as...

Weber intake manifold and potential cooling issue

Interesting... I didn’t know that about GT40’s or for that matter any rear engine car (I’m sure this would include Pantera’s as well) and I didn’t visualize it until your post. That being the case, If it were me I’d vent out of the back of the manifold with a “Y” going toward the front and into...

Weber intake manifold and potential cooling issue

I too had these thoughts of a potential hot-spot bubble in the system (back of the head). I own both the Cobra Weber manifold and the C6AE. I had both sides of the Cobra manifold drilled and tapped for a (3/8 NPT) radiator petcock. (see pic) As it turns out, in retrospect I should have never...

    Weber Help Please !

This is one of the best current reads on the Weber 48 IDA for a V8 application I’ve seen in a while. It’s still being refined by the Tennessee Tim the author. Better than most printed material out there. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/weber-tuning/123177-weber-tuning-tutorial.html Cheers...

    Where's Randy (Big-Foot)???

I just checked his LinkedIn profile, He has activity in the last week or so. So I would believe it's not business/work related. Just hope he's just been real busy with life, which is a good thing. Cheers, ~Earl J

    Cross ram intakes

Hello Walter, Yes you are correct in identifying the dual linkage as Enderle pieces. As for the length in the photo of the rods; they were just for photo purposes. I have various lengths and would use and or adjust the length as needed. Hex rod stock can be purchased in lengths up to 24 inches...

    Monterey??

One other thing, the only requirement is that your car be FORD powered. GT40’s Cobra, Shelby anything, Pantera’s and Mangustas are fine. NO Porsches, Ferrari’s, Benz’s or Jags even thought the honored marquee this year is Jaguar in the area and definitely nothing Japanese. Cheers, Earl J

My wife and I will be participating the in the 17th Annual Auto Rally on Friday. It’s a mix of everything. I’m trailering down the 65 350. I’ll be at the track on Saturday in the Ford only CORRAL parking area. My parking pass is good for Friday - Sunday. I’m only using it on Saturday. Anyone is...

    Original Gurney Weslake Heads/intake/Webers?

I know this is an older thread, But a late response is better than no response. How about this: a set of Chris' "Gurney Weslake" valve covers, an original Ford casted C6AE manifold and a new set of AFR #1381 competition heads with the 58cc chambers... Cheers, ~Earl J

    Weber manifold question

Michael, I have both the Cobra and the Ford E & F manifold with the original dual water outlets. The original GT40 "Y" manifold is unique itself and is unlike the the one used in the 289 Cobra and or the reversed "Y" pipe used in the GT350. The original GT40 version came out and immediately...

Hello patzstang, I'm not sure where folks are getting the idea that i'm selling the rambox manifold with both tops. I'm not. The single 4 arrangement is the more difficlt to find and aquire. A number of guys use them in vintage road racing. for one Gary Goinger (sp?) who vintage races the...
