fire

Just wondering where the best position to place my fire extinguisher nozzles in the engine bay. Not sure where the most likely place for fires to start, was thinking pointing them at the 4 gauze's between the carbs, would this be correct.

Not really sure where to put this post so I'm guessing here... Did a little (very little)forum search and the most recent thread (I found) on fire systems was 2007.(I will keep digging) I'd love to hear an opinion/tips/knowledge/experiences on Fire Suppression set ups. I intend on installing...

I was told that a GT40 had a fire in some histroric racing event in Germany or Austria some years ago They told me it was a original car. Does someone have knowledge about this , I have not found anything. Rune.

It's beginning to unravel. The outright corruption that caused these blocks to be clad in what is basically a system such as Cellotex with a flimsy metal cover is being uncovered. I find it really strange that this country can afford to build HS2 but leave so many people housed in rubbish...
