The Lola GT is really SMALL. Nice looking car. At the Nurburgring in '63 I overheard a couple of mechanics talking "Have you seen the new Lola? It makes the Ferrari look like a lorry!"

Hi all,
watched the vidéo again, and around 12min when they open the front clip, by surprise I noticed the the fuel filler cap is attached to the front clip and moves with te clip when it is opened.
seems has only one filler neck / cap
the lola gt had cross over and twin tanks?

I believe some of the original GT40s had a second filler cap that you could only access if you raised the front clip. This car could have had that design as well. Hard to see from the video. They only made three of these and he was able to buy this car for $3,000 in 1964. I'd call that one of the best car purchases of all time.
