302 Inlet manifold

Found this on ebay UK.

I need a lower intake manifold for my car (currently fitted with Offenhauser 'Hi-rise' manifold) to reduce the height of the carb. Before I put in a bid, is this a viable alternative to an Edelbrock performer manifold?
Engine specs are:
Reed Camshaft with mechanical lifters, chrome moly pushrods, Magnum Roller rockers, Dart Big Valve heads, Double coil valve Springs, Screw-in Studs, Forged Pistons, polished lightened rods, Holley 650cfm Double pumper, High volume oil pump + SVO drive.
Thanks.

skip it.

That guy knows nothing about ford engines, otherwise he would know that a 351 is a lot wider than a 302 and the intake will not fit.

If you want a performer, get a performer, or else look at:

The cross wind is a Performer RPM rip off, I think the huricane is a Victor Jr. rip off.

People have had sucess with them. They are Chinese and not as good as the real thing, but the price is right.

Simon,

I have been looking around on several of the mustang and motor sites I frequent and I haven't been able to find a single word on the Holley Contender. Plenty on the Performer, of course, being the gold standard of intakes. Hard numbers mean more to me than sales figures; I only wish I had some to give you.

Lynn

I did find a cool primer on intakes here.
