3D Laser Scan of Original Parts and Cars

We took the plunge and purchased a fantastic 3D laser scanner!

We'd like to document as many original pieces as possible.
If you're willing to share the original piece for a short period of time, I'd be happy to supply the 3D scan in exchange.
Some example pieces I did this weekend (below).
We can do whole sub-assemblies or vehicles as well.

Did it scan the inside of the ports well?
Would be interesting to have it run through the current CFD programs.

Thanks Trevor,

I’ve been using this:

It’s a little pricey, and doesn’t work as well as foot powder, paint etc, but transitions directly from solid to gas, leaving no trace on the part.

they have similar stuff here but too expensive , sand shoe cleaner wipes off with wet rag !! ok for small volume and its cheap !!
never thought of foot powder , cornstarch probably good as well

Upping the ante.

Anyone that helps with info to replicate a part gets a free copy, another one in kind, or in-store credit.

A few folks have helped out already.

Adam, that is a great deal you have put out there. I hope people step up as from everything I have seen you make some really nice parts.
Best of luck !!

Adam,
I have seen quite a few posts where people were looking for a clutch slave splined arm for the ZF box.

The period piece was curved and unobtainable at present.

Perhaps something for you to think about.

Hi Adam
iAm not sure but I think I have heard 3 or 4 times people looking for that piece as it had broken.

Other similar pieces are available but do not work.
