Any plans for a updated body on the SLC?

The higher fender arches on the Davidson car, the biggest cosmetic difference, was a knock-on effect as a result of lowering the car substantially and needing more room for the tire travel. The front and rear suspension, along with a myriad of other features on that car, are way different than the standard SL-C. None of them are cosmetically appealing, just purely functional... and that said, it seems to be barely faster and far less reliable than the blue car running in many of the same races.

While we're talking about the Davidson car, are there any comparable lap times to the Fran's 01 car? Is it actually any quicker after all that?

We have not run on the same track on the same day...which is the only real way to know

We have competed in the same event with the Davidson car.

At the 2013 25hrs. of Thunderhill, we qualified 4th @ 1:46.2, the eagle was 3rd @1: 42.6. Qualifying is a real cluster with only 30 min, and over 60 cars of extremely disproportionate performance levels, (lots of Miatas) so a clean lap is hard to achieve, and not really relevant for a 25 hr. race.
In the race their best lap was a 1:44.1, while we turned a 1:44.7. we passed them on lap 1 & led the first few laps, then settled into our endurance pace, & let them go on. They completed 90 laps & retired early. we completed 505 laps & led overall more than 10 hrs, then retired with steering failure, with a 5 lap lead on second place.

I know Bob is serious about his race program, & it is a challenge & fun to race against them. I would imagine we could build several copies of our car, for what they have invested in theirs, how many is the question, but really none of our business, as we focus on our own program, as any race team should.
