I feel like such a failure!

Try as I did, I could only achieve a 60. In my business that's a failing grade.

Zero for me

Wow - zero for me, or maybe even a negative score? We haven't watched TV since the damn thing broke back in 1998. I have been absolutely enjoying the free time ever since...

Chris--are you my "Hero"?

You may just be my hero!! How many times have I thought about not fixing the TV when it goes out, yet here I go again taking the TV from the bedroom to the repair shop soon as I can get help to get it down off the wall mount. When I had kids living in the house, I went so far as to make the rule that there would be at least one TV free night. The 3 kids each got to pick a day that was safe from the "no TV" rule, as did my wife and I, and the day that was left over was the "Black-Out Day", so to speak. The kids hated it but the wife and I loved it b/c it got the kids up and out of the house for at least one evening a week. I'll bet the little buggers went to their friends' houses and watched TV. Sometimes I think it's a blessing when we don't know what our kids are up to.

Hmmmm... I've got a 4 week old - first one. Those days are coming for me. I'm also wondering if not having a TV at all for her could back fire. We'll see...
