ATLANTA HISTORIC RACES:Sept. 13, 14 & 15.

Will be a lot of Cobra replicas watching, pos. 1 racing and a hybrid GT40 "spyder" racing. Held at Road Atlanta. Beautiful time of the year here. Not as big as the Walter Mitty held each spring, but a fun event. Air Tran flies here cheap. Come on down! cb

Did you ever show? DC, JW, and I hung out and circulated the track pretty well. Did not see anyone else. What is the status of your GT-40?

 

We made it Sunday all day-with ccoen and Gerald (new Unique Cobra owner). We didn't take the Cobras-rain til late in the pm. But was great. HAve everything for the GT40 except a few suspension piece due in from UK. Have engine (unassembled), tanks, gauges, switches, seats, part of the exhaust, brakes (Wilwood). Already has the roller chassis to start. Need final assembly and painting. Should have in about 3 months. Will keep youposted. cb

Have you changed cars. What happened to the one in ?? Ohio?? Wasn't that guy going to finish it out for you? Did you finsh out your garage? If you need some help with the build let me know and we'll get together on a weekend. BTW I have about 48 shots I took while at the races Sat. I will post them on Image Station for all to look. The camera is a Veo, so the resolution is not the best( 1.3 megapixels )They are all in the paddock and staging area. I'll post them today. Go to the album Bill151.
