Autosport show

Had a great day at Autsport 2003 yesterday & was nice to bump into quite a few club members.

There was loads of really interesting stuff, too much too see in one day for me!

Points of specific interest were of course the quaiffe sequential transaxle on display, apparentley available soon & there were a few other transaxles elsewhere on show. The Ultima stand were displaying some stunning examples of their cars.... If only they would use a GT40 body on their stunning chassis. The engineering is great & quality is superb, (It's just the styling that I don't like!).

All the major brake manufacturers were there, AP, Wlillwood (rally design), Brembo, Alcon, Hi-Spec & loads of others. Too much other stuff to mention in the way of every conceivable item a car builder could ever want!

As mentioned elsewhere, there was a GT40 replica on display promoting a race series for 2004. (?)

Car of the show for me was the Pagoni Zonda. First time I've seen one in the flesh, I was suprised it's quite a big car, but drop dead gorgeous! They've even used Vitalloni mirrors as on my GTD!!

The new Farboud prototype was also pretty droolworthy, I hope it makes production!

There's probably a load of other stuff I forgot to mention, but all in all a petrol head heaven!
