Back From RBT With News

I went to RBT today to pick up some parts that won't be used on my transaxle. While I was there, I asked him about people who have ordered new transaxles. The long delay is being caused by his partner in Texas. That is where the bottleneck is. He understands the frustration people are having with the long delay because he hears them all the time on his answering machine. In fact, he spends the first 90+ minutes each day going through all the voice mails.

The Texas plant is where the cases are made and machined. Lloyd does the assembly. I've had to wait 4 months just for a case. I got to see my case today...all beautifully polished, waiting for assembly (in the next 2 weeks).

He went on to say he's not taking any deposits, just orders as he knows it's unfair to people to payout bookoo bucks and then wait, wait, and wait.

Cheers

I'm sure you'll be glad to put this chapter of your build in the books...

I think it was great of you to offer to follow up with RBT for folks here and I - for one - can hardly wait to see the finished product!!!

I will be going back to see Lloyd when I receive my new shifter from Fran. Lloyd is going to install the mount on the ZF for me. When I go, anyone wanting me to check on their order, please let me know
