barcode9 are you real?

barcode9 seems to have responded to a lot of post's in a short time and i have noticed i get a pop up in forums that he has posted but not in others. Is it just me?

I sent a polite complaint to the website that's hosting his shockwave file (t35.com). If they kill his account, the popups might continue to occur, but they will have nothing to show.

On a Mac at home and this blokes posts bring up music and icons that say "put some excitement back in"

Is it possible to delete the posts?

At the office on a pc - I did not get these problems

Not only does this moron clutter up our Forum with pop-ups (even with a pop-up blocker, I still have to click on a window that tells me that the pop-up was blocked), but it also interferes with posting pics. I have to double-click on the "attachment" word in the header to get the pic to display, then go "back" to see the full thread.

Ron, is there an easy way to delete all of his posts ?

As with hackers, you wonder what kind of neanderthal mentality drives these pathetic specimens. In a way, they are a bit like the graffiti cretins, but worse - they have the skills to do "cute" things with computers, yet they choose to use these skills to annoy others, rather than to do something constructive & actually benefit not only society, but themselves ! That is just plain dumb !

Nope, I still see pop ups from the threads he infected.

Ron or Lynn - you'll have to go in an either delete his posts
or change the "embed" tags to point to nowhere (or I suppose
remove the "embed" stuff).

I was able to stop the popups by running adaware from Lavasoft. There is a free download of the product here

It found that my registry had been modfied.
