I’ve committed to the Boxster S and SBF with a Kennedy Eng adapter/clutch/starter. Have yet to build the powertrain but have all the major parts purchased. Still debating spicy 306, radical 331 or mild 347 build for 350-450hp

Devin, a 302 at 10 to 1 comp ratio, just about any current aluminum head with 2,02 intake valves, and a hyd roller cam with about 530-550 lift and 280ish duration on both will net right at 350-375 crank HP. Heres a few so you can see the specs.

What's the sbf?
Kind of a loaded question but generally means Small block Ford (ie 260,289,302,306,331,347 and even 351 to 427 strokers) are all based on the same engine block family. With some exceptions, they all have the same bellhousing pattern and mating to transmission.

Added for those unfamiliar with American slang: SBC - small block Chevrolet, BBC = big block Chevrolet, Mopar = Chrysler
