Has anyone seen or have the new 1/10 scale GT40 diecast? Looks real good in the pictures but photos sometimes lie. I am just curious, I was a bad boy this year so Santa will not likely be dropping me one off this year.

I was just thinking about doing something just like this. I've seen a few 1/12th Mk II and Mk IVs on Ebay. They go for about $400 to $500.
I'm now thinking about making my own 1/12th from scratch. I'd try to make just about everything from brake lines and wiring to the monocoque chassis.
I hadn't thought of doing a 1/10th scale GT40. It's a good idea. It would certainly make the math easier.
It'd be a challenge but if I can't build a 1/12 car what chance do I have of doing a full size car?
