Busy weekend

Thanks Joel ,that was one of the things I wanted to try and copy from the originals,it will never be an original or even close but there was some things I really liked about the originals that I wanted to incorporate into my car eg carbs, peddle box ,steering wheel ,gulf arches, header tank ,just small acsent pieces that will make the car just that little bit different if that makes sense and with the help of people of this forum it can be done for which I am very grateful. More pics for bob

Now that’s more like it mate keep em coming.
Your lad knows his stuff. Chip off the old block eh :)

Great stuff!
How are you for space round the rear clip?
I’m interested because we’re both using Lee Dawson’s body kit.
Won’t be getting front and rear for mine for a while yet.
I thought I might have pipe no five out too far but it looks similar to yours.

No problems at all bob but remember it’s a different chassis and I know Mik payed particular attention to the position of the motor,so perhaps it is time to come and have a look and may be bring a tape with you .i think it’s about 30 40 mm from the highest pipe to the body .sam doesn’t like one of the pipes for some reason so he will be changing one today then welding them up

Ok bob hear you go ,the top two pipes re- jigged cos Sam couldn’t sleep with the way they were ,it took all day because you move one and it affects more but he is now happy so will be zipping them up tomorrow and over the weekend

Looking good Mark. Sam had it right. Looks much better now. All it needs now is a pair of lightly tapered megaphones and a lead right foot. I will listen out for it!
Cheers
Mike
