Canadian Ford GT in US

Hello, I have a canadian 06 ford gt and I want to know if I can import it to the US with no modifications whatsoever. Anyone has done it?

I know it's been done. There wouldn't be any logical reason to prevent it since the Canadian version has a few supposed 'safety upgrades' over the U.S. version as I recall (such as a beefier rear bumper, I believe).

In fact, the NEW 2nd generation Ford GTs are all made in Canada and shipped down to buyers in the States.

You'd have to check with U.S. Customs for the latest 'red tape'. Bureaucrats with seemingly nothing better to do are constantly tinkering with that sort of thing.

Msr1, please update your profile to your real name as agreed to when signing up for the forum. This is the GT40S website that deals with replicas from the 60’s. There is a Ford GT site on the net that deals with the 2005 &6 models. If you can’t find your answer here, you might check there as requirements are different for those cars.
