Hi I'm Allen, I've got more time than money, but I'm looking to build something out of a 302 sitting in my garage. I come from an IT background, but prefer working with my hands more than brains. I live in Indy.

There is a company called Lesher Motorsports in Salinas, CA. They make a very accurate, very attractively priced replica of the Shelby Daytona Coupe.
The owner is an IT guy himself who does the cars as a hobby. You two might get along well
The kits start inespensively at round 15K and the final product is light years ahead of an FFR coupe because it is dimensionally correct and will look like the real thing.
