Catch Tanks

Do catch tanks need to have breather valves? Some of the smaller ones I have seen don't appear to have them. Is this anissue? Thanks

If you're talking something like a PCV valve - the answer is no. However, it's always good to be able to position the catch tank above the valve cover so the line/hose has to travel up-hill to get to the catch tank.

If you need MSA approval for competition I have heard that their may be a minimum tank size. I will check the blue book when I get chance..

Thanks, my car is going to be used mainly on the road, I just want to have most of the correct parts.

Sadly I don't think my Audi will be strong enough for the vigours of racing... I need to get higher up in Ford and aquire a GT box... LOL
