Well my CAV SPEC clutch upgrade is installed and I've got about 100 miles on it and I highly recommend it.
On my AUDI 016 the clutch chatter and shudder are complety gone and the drivability is significantly better. Clutch pedal effort is also greatly reduced and the engagement is very smooth. If you find yourself with the tranny off, I strongly recommend the upgrade.
As was asked before on the other thread, the source was SPEC Clutches & Flywheels: Auto Parts, Domestic, Import, Truck, Racing, Drifting and I opted for the stage 3+. They offer a variety from pure street to pure race and I went for the street/race version. SPEC part # of my AUDI 016 clutch is SA113F. However, I would talk to them before you order to be sure you get the correct part. It turns out there are several different AUDI variants and I sent pictures and measures to be sure it all was correct.
