I posted here back in September about chassis 1075 being on display at The Henry Ford Museum and figured I would share another tip for those of us that are interested. I've just returned from the North American International Auto Show industry preview (Detroit Auto Show as it's most commonly known) and thought I'd let you know that 1072 is on display in the Ford display.
Obviously, it's displayed very near the new GT that was just announced, directly across from a 2005 model, but for those of us that are aficionados of the original I will say while it lacks the pedigree of, say, 1075, it's always a treat to see an original on display.
I was with work colleagues and had the oppurtunity to share in a bit of knowledge, which is always fun (my decree that this is likely the most impressive/expensive car on the show floor was initially met with scoffs and disbelief). If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.
