Just joined to see what information the GT40 has and what it is all about. Have built a few 944 v8 conversions and looking for new projects to keep me out of the bars at night.

Welcome. Lots here to enjoy. The GT40 is a fantastic car and certainly one worth looking into as a project. I'm biased of course and would say the CAV is a great car as I own one but there are certainly other models out there too. Good Luck.
